Christoph Strasser – „Long distance cyclist, talkmaster and product tester“

Christoph’s job isn’t “just” riding his bike in ultracycling races or in his tough daily training sessions, he also gives lectures and keynote-speeches since many years. His presentations about motivation and mastering challenges mainly take place in companies, but there are also public events in cities or communities, which are organized by local event managers or by us.
In the online shop, the long-distance nerd acts as a product tester. All of the products we offer are used by Christoph himself, most of them have even been tried out in Race Across America. This is the perfect playground to test sports nutrition, cycling kit, sunglasses or communication systems under challenging conditions.
He only helps with customer service and managing shipping in exceptional cases, because as soon as the boss Sabine is out of the house, it can happen that he accidentally sends a #jawui cap instead of a #schepfn cap! If you should get a wrong product, it is very likely that Mr. Strasser's fingers were involved! We will of course correct the error immediately and free of charge.

Sabine Prager – „THE Boss“

Sabine is not only Christoph’s personal motivational coach when he is not so keen on training, but also the managing person responsible for the online shop in the areas of customer service, ordering, shipping and communication.
Together with Christoph, she has built up Ultracyclingshop in recent years and both are working on constantly expanding the product range and improving the service. Sabine's responsibilities extends much further, however, and she is also Christoph's management, marketing and organizational talent.
She is also found at lectures, preferably at the merchandise booth.

What is important to us:

Today, there are many online shops and endurance sports related products available. We are a relatively small online store with a selected range of products. We want to offer products that differ from standard bulk products. That is why it is so important that Christoph can test everything before we offer it. After this, we can give these products to our customers with conviction.
In addition, we clearly rely on being in personal contact with our customers and do our best to always answer inquiries as quickly as possible.
We are also not fans of waste - that means we like to use cardboard boxes from our suppliers (without big branding) again. We produce enough garbage anyway. Our packaging chips are organic and biodegradable and we only send products in plastic sleeves if they have to be hygienic (like food and supplements) or if the product needs additional protection.
We have been working with most of our suppliers for many years. But we are always open to new ideas and strive to expand our range!
However, our vision is not to build a huge company, but a sustainable family business. Bigger, farther and faster is what we prefer when it comes to cycling. But in the company we choose wisely and rely on small manufacturers, regional producers and avoid products with long shipping journeys from the other side of the globe.
Sustainability and quality are our priorities. Our T-shirts are produced from organic cotton and are handmade using a screen printing process in Vienna. The cycling clothing is produced by the company owayo in Regensburg, the companies Peeroton and Sportbionier produce sports nutrition and organic proteins in Austria, to name just a few examples.
